Faith & Spiritual Struggles

"I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!"

— Mark 9:24

If you’re walking through spiritual struggles or questions of faith, this is a place of support for the seasons when the simple answers you were given no longer hold. Maybe you’re wrestling with doubt, disillusionment, church hurt, religious trauma, or a version of God that now feels more frightening than loving. Maybe your faith once felt alive and now feels distant, confusing, or empty. This is a space where honest wrestling is welcome, no pressure to perform or pretend.

In our work together, we’ll gently explore the story of your faith: the messages you absorbed about God, sin, grace, and yourself; the experiences that shaped your beliefs; and the places where something in you now says, “I can’t do it that way anymore.” We’ll name spiritual wounds and disappointments, make room for anger and grief, and begin to separate the heart of God from the harmful ways God may have been presented to you.

This process can help you:

  • Put words to your doubts, questions, and confusion without shame
  • Untangle fear-based beliefs about God, punishment, or “getting it wrong”
  • Process church hurt, spiritual abuse, or religious trauma in a safe environment
  • Explore new, healthier ways of relating to God, yourself, and others
  • Reimagine faith as something more honest, spacious, and grounded in love

You don’t have to choose between blind certainty and walking away from faith altogether. Here, you’re free to ask hard questions, sit in the tension, and move at your own pace. My role is not to argue you into anything, but to help you as you discern what is healing, what is true, and what kind of relationship with God still feels possible.
